SPANISH 5AP - Independent Reading and Activity Schedule
  • Use the Reading Schedule to keep up with the large AP Spanish Reading List. While there is some "flex" time at the end, the AP Spanish Literature Exam requires that you be able to CONNECT the works through common THEMES, LITERARY PERIODS, GENRES, STYLES, etc. As you are reading, you will want to be thinking about how the current piece relates to other pieces you have read.
  • Use your AP Literature Packet as a frequent reference. It will often help you complete portions of the Literature Cards or "TARJETAS."
  • For each piece, you will need to complete the appropriate TARJETA (narrative, poetry, theater) for a large part of your grade. These cards will help you keep all of the works organized and fresh in your mind. You'll use these cards to prepare for other graded activities and for the AP Exam itself. When your card is checked and graded, you'll receive a MINI-CARD to add to your literature collection.
  • It will be difficult to learn all of the LITERARY TERMS in your AP Literature Packet, but it will be IMPORTANT to know them. Many of the multiple-choice questions on the AP Literature Exam include these terms.
  • ICome to class each day for attendance, we may have time to do a comprehension check and I can answer any questions you may have. You'll be able to read in the library during your class period. On days when the Spanish 4 AP class is writing or doing group work, we'll have coaching time and or doing an essay or test.
